So I am now 26 weeks and it feels like this little girl is about to fall out!! It is so different than being pregnant with any of my boys. They all loved my ribs and she really likes to ride low. She is so active and moving all the time that it even wakes me up in the middle of the night!!
So far I have only gained about 7lbs so they still want me to gain another 13-18lbs! I guess there is plenty of time for that.... Next appointment is next week and I already said I have to get blood drawn. So other than that not too much is happening.
May look into doing some henna though, I have been looking at pictures and artists and it looks amazing, I think it would be something different to do. I'll keep you updated!
This is my journey of becoming a surrogate mother and all the adventures that come along with it!

25 weeks....
So it has been busy and I said that I would update sooner but of course that didn't happen!! Well the visit with my IF's was amazing and had a great time. They really bonded with our youngest Cooper because he was with us all day for the US and the hospital tour.
We had a quick visit after they got some rest later that afternoon and I am happy to say that they found an apartment to stay in before and after the birth. It is a little ways away but it isn't too bad. When they return in April they will have their twins with them and I think it will be interesting to see how everything will end up working out.
Our next big step will be at 30 weeks when all of the legal things come into play with the state of Colorado. I had to send them a copy of my license because in France if they are having a baby outside of the country they need to make a declaration of birth. So that France knows there will be a baby coming back with one of them!! This was interesting to me, maybe I will do some more research on it...
Next appointment will be February 2nd! I have to do a second glucose test and get a HCT and a HGB test done as well... not use to doing so many blood draws but this is minimal compared to what I went through in the beginning!!

This is a picture of.... you guessed it a little girl that my IF's will have the privilege of taking home with them in May!! So excited!
